 Young DV, aka DVS, was born on the southside of Chicago, March 1982. He lived with his extended family consisting of aunts, uncles, and cousins. This is where he first realized he was interested in the music industry. He moved out to Miami in 1989 to reconnect with his mother and found his calling in middle school, when he heard the rap songs of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Unkle Al, Eazy E, and Luke. During his college years he interned at Slip-N-Slide Records and learned how the rap game is run. Now, at the age of 23, he has been focused to become one of Miami's premier rap artists. He is currently hosting his own internet show, performing at clubs on South Beach and on the hit T.V. show, The Roof, and even collaborating with other local upcoming Miami artists. Because of his musical background, he is not affraid to mix different types of music genres, to bring a new edge in the Hip-Hop industry, making him a strong asset to NewFlo Entertainment. Be on the lookout for 'The Streets is Calling' Mixtape and 'Ya Boy is Here', his debut album, coming soon.
